went to the alfred hospital today! :)
was good!!! tony hall is such a nice ophthalmologist. there were snooty med students there. one of them was like "oh...we're sitting in with optom students." in THAT kinda tone. but we totally kicked their asses YEAH! we taught them how to use the ophthalmolscope... BUT having said that, they were nice. :) and they're third years... so its okay :) im just bitchy.

the last patient that came in had HIV... i was excited!!! but after i looked into his eyes, i felt...quite sad. i think. more shocked at first... cos i saw this HUGE scar that covered the optic nerve and the scar just went on forever... i was like "please please stop there". u cld hardly see the optic nerve. He's getting around well though... and he's lived 14 years with aids. so that's amazing :)

the University of Melbourne Eye Clinic opens tomorrow!! they're bringing in the dior, hugo boss and marc jacobs frames tomorrow! I'm excited to go see!!! they're giving the 5th years the right to choose the frames for the practice. so that's cool!!! :D hehe a visit to the guide dog association awaits before frame picking... :) i wanna see the labs!!!!!!!!! ive been waiting for this visit ever since they said we get to go :) hehehe
