wow...
im blown away.
just came back from this jazz class. (no not flare). went with flarians though!
its been such a long time since i took a dance class outside flare. about five years... time flies baby, time flies... sigh. vee was scared before the class. haha so cute! i was a bit apprehensive also. it turned out to be damn fun though! and the place was uber cool. just like the set of honey. when u walk in, there's this space which resembles a basketball court. cars were parked in that space too for goodness sakes! so it looked like a garage. that's where the hip hop class was held. how movie-like! and then upstairs (sorta like a split level thing), there were two more smaller studios. we danced in one of these smaller ones.
paid 13 bucks for that two hours. but it was worth it.
we totally died during the warmups. haha! my abs feel harder though. and i grew more muscles on my arms again. really need to stop growing muscles on my arms... and the teacher did her choreo on the spot la! and it was so nice! it was to ramalamabangbang... she copied a little from so you think you can dance...not the steps but the idea of being zombie like.

caleb's cell mate came along... and she was from sc too... and she was a dancer in sc... so small la the world!!!

choreographer's meeting tomorrow. i can't believe i'm gonna do this... but its good i guess... whenever i get bored, i'll have something to work on. whenever i get stressed/need to take stuff off my mind, i'll have something to do to unwind and focus on.
i was really set on using the fray's "how to save a life"
but after i fell in love with the killers' "read my mind" i think im gonna use that instead. haha!
but today i woke up with dmb's "crash into me" in my head. and i really like it too... sigh, but that one, the beat is a bit harder to choreo to. not as straight forward as the killers... but there's something about "crash into me"... i have loads of sweet memories associated with that song... i remember the first time i heard it... aiya a lot of things... i miss that period of my life so much! so so much... so seeing that that song has sentimental value... i may be able to choreo to it better. more feeling...
but im lazy to figure the counts out.
so ... NAH... haha! i'll just be lazy.
