winter sonata was sooooo slow! can't believe we survived it! haha (with much fast forwarding) hehehe.
i can't wait to go back and fullhouse marathon with tiff and cheryl! cheryl we're gonna drag u along k k? hehe. i just can't wait to go back go sg! but dreading getting that job... cos firstly, job searching has always not worked out for me so to me, its like close to being the hardest thing in the world! and secondly, i have no idea how to go about doing it besides giving out my resume and waiting for that call. how on earth does one impress? thirdly, im always half hearted about getting a job cos it means not having as much time to spend time with dydct and tablegang, have me-time and all that stuff. and fourthly, im just one lazy-ass scaredy cat. i dun wanna get out of my comfort zone! fifthly, i already can feel it in my bones that this job searching adventure will fail yet AGAIN.

but of course there are pros too..... like i'll have something to write down on my resume next time. hahaha and, i'll have experience!!! and.......last but definitely not least, i'll get moneyyy!!!

would anyone wanna hire for such a short time? hmmmmm......

optom mates wanna find jobs in melb next year. and i do too... for aforementioned reasons... or aforementioned ulterior motives. heh heh ;)

why is this blog entry ending up to be about job searching???? it was supposed to be abt winter sonata. hahaha. hmm but yea, getting a job or rather, NOT be able to get a job has been one of my fears for a very long time and has been at the back of my head for a very long time...

winter sonataaa.... aiyo... they talk too slowly, walk too slowly, stare at each other for tooooo long, and there were tooooo many wo ai ni ni ai wo moments..... ohhhh my gohhhhhhh....... watch until feel like strangling them la. hahaha. fell asleep so so so many times! but i must say the last 5 episodes were pretty exciting!!!!! and the ending was quite happy. but he WENT BLINDDDDDD :( nooooo but at least they ended up together after sooo much bloody effort they put in just to be together its crazy!!! haha. so at least left me KIND OF satisfied...... the guy was quite handsome also haha :D but i prefered him without his dyed hair and specs.... but still prefer the save your last dance guy hehe *droolllll*

i think im in a blabbering mood. whoever reads this entire entry gets sticky date pudding from me. hahaha!

okokok puiyee's party...... was excellent!!!!!! it was held at a gorgeous aparment in QV. the corner aparments are super pretty la... i've always dreamnt of living in something like that since secondary school days. with my three cats named snowball (hur hur not very creative and obviously this is the white one), iris (the grey one) and i can't remember what i'll call the black one... no idea why i chose cats over dogs also... anyways...the food was yum yum!!! had sushi, sandwiches, KRISPY KREMES! and assorted puffs. and there was this whole big pile of max brenner's chocolate chips... hehe and her CAKE was soooo pretty. the icing was all white and there were white chocolate butterflies on it and there were pink roses and tiny silver balls all over... her auntie made it apparently hehe and her auntie's some award winning cake decorator or something. woooooooo.

the first part of the night was spent signing her guestbook, signing her card, mingling and eating and drinking (oh ya! her friend's like the bar tender from three degrees la... and he bar tended for her tt night... drinks were good!!!) then the speeches came..... left me emo againnnnnnn haha.... and the music slowly switched from soft rock to rnb... lights were turned off... dancing started... didn't really feel like dancing cos the food was so gooood and i was sleepy from alcohol. hahaha... vanessa was like "ok i teach u!!! take whatever u want to eat then go to a corner..." hehehehe so that we wont keep standing arnd the table. haha. :D

but daph's dental friend, having heard that we're from flare, really wanted to see daph and i dance... but daph and i really didn't know what to do... and so embarrassing also cos there were soo many people whose faces we could ACTUALLY SEE... u know like normally, the audience is just this one huge sea of black... so its okay.... but in this situation, they were not... anyways, we didn't dance in the end cos i think both of us felt embarrassed and i felt super self conscious... first time i've felt like that when asked to dance... maybe im becoming boringgg and less willing to make a fool of myself...

night went on, people left... and in the end there were only a few of us left...puiyee opened her prezziessss hehe and we sang along to the jukebox which wasn't really a jukebox. how good is "LET IT BE"???????? I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!! :D dad used to sing it lots when we were kids... but of course when u're a kid, u never ever listen to the lyrics... speaking of good songs, train's drops of jupiter played while i was lunching with optom gang that day. haha. and to my delight, lynette loves that song too :) weeee!

there are really REALLY very funny indians in dentistry. goshhhh oh and the same guy who was asking us to dance burst out into this whole speech about girls and their body image... it was the sweetest thing i've heard! "I'm waiting for a day when a girl can stand in front of the mirror and tell herself she's beautiful! why can't u guys just see that you are beautiful??? why do u have to strive for that little bit more???? like that 1kg more or 2kg more???" then we go "cos it makes u guys happy!"

and then he goes "it doesn't make us happy! when u strive for that little bit more, it actually puts a strain on us......."

its back to the land of skinny girls in 2 days time for me... the past 2 decembers, i always end up going on some STUPID STUPID STUPID crash diet whenever i go back to singapore. but NO MORE!!!!!!! its just cardio for meee this time.
