im so behind in my work :(
have to start mugging soon...
this sem is turning out to be worse than last sem schoolwork wise...im muchmuchmuch less attentive during lectures.
and my group presentation. sigh. im so going to do badly with the peer assessment thingy. but im still hoping that we all agree to give each other full marks.
i thought i was supposed to research on this particular differential diagnosis. and i did my work. and then at the next meeting, this girl already did it (and she's more vocal than me, so i didn't say i did work on that part too). anyways, half way through the meeting, she said that she might not want to put that disease into the presentation. haha so basically she and i did work for nothing... fair and square la... lucky i didn't spend too much time on that part.
at least i have another more major part to work on.
and what's new... optics is tough as usual. aberrations, aperture stops, lenses, ray tracing... meh... not my cup of tea i must say.
other aspects of uni life has been going good though! :) celebrated jane's birthday with the flare peeps at this place called bimbos on friday :) the pizza and the infused vodkas there are so cheap and dont let the name deceive you, its actually a really nice place. :) none of that pinky fluffy sparkly decor tt i expected... looks kinda like the set on friends... that kinda atmosphere.
and on sunday, we performed for open day... it was SUCH a nice day! with the sunshine and the balloons. hehe and lunch was on flare!!! PLUS! on that day, i received my pay for the uni gig i did during the holidays!!! a cool 30 bucks!!! getting the chance to dance is one thing... but getting paid to dance is a different story altogether. haha so happyyy!!! :D
and yesterday i got PAID 10 bucks!!! :D to be an experimental subject for my demonstrator's thesis. and i just had to sit there and get my heart rate measured under different situations. my resting heart rate is 56...then under the stressful condition, he said it shot up to 77! hahaha. yea i guess i dont handle stress well.
he asked me if im prepared for friday... and sadly the answer is no... told him its because the first pseudo patient im seeing has very small pupils so it'll be hard to check...and plus his myopia is damn high... and my demonstrator was like "oh dear, that's not a very good way to start..."
i pray friday will be okay. :(
