i wanted to leave my blog alone for awhile cos i've been blogging excessively! looks like i only managed to leave it alone for five days. or less than that. haha. lousy.

just had to blog about the dancesport's social that i went to on friday! it was sooo fun! for the first part of it, the instructor separated the guys and the girls into lines and then he taught the parts separately. that part was already fun! When it came to dancing with a partner, i was superrr nervous cos i was scared of screwing up and stepping on the person's toes (or maybe i was scared of the other person stepping on my toes heh heh)... luckily my first partner was nice and we were equally lost. haha. found out that he was a fifth year dental so i excitedly introduced him to daph and vanessa. one new friend made. :)

then after that, the instructor got the all the couples to stand in a circle and we did the routine again and again with different partners... switching partners was part of the routine! so cool right? :) it was really fun dancing with the more experienced guys cos they really spin and swing you around and plus, when u forgot the steps, u could just follow their lead. :) *parasite* haha. we learnt salsa and meringue (sp???) that night. i like meringue more. :D its sexier! a bit strange doing it with a stranger though.

danced till my heels gave me blisters then we sat down for awhile, watching the pros on the dancefloor. There was this girl with legs that seemed to go on forever and ever. She was SUPER good! Her turns were so sharp and...aiya, suffice to say, i wish i could dance like that.

On the way back, van, daph and i found jason (my first dance partner) and linda (his coursemate) outside the chemistry building. haha so we stopped to talk to them. then talking became dancing. imagine that!!! people dancing outside the chem building at night. how movie-ish.
