just came back from yum cha with jackie who treated me! :) haha yay! we ate for two hours!!! so no dinner tonight for both of us. luckily i didn't eat breakfast in the morning! talked about how she celebrated chinese new year in china. her grandma made these dumplings that have actual coins (which they wash properly beforehead obviously) and dates in them. i think its one coin and one date per dumpling or something like that and she told me that if u first bite into the coin, u'll have good fortune for the rest of the year and if u bite into the date first then u'll have good luck for the rest of the year. haha. two ups no downs. i also want!!! talked about cheap dvds in china, talked about my holiday, talked about how i want transition lenses, talked about how i think i've gotten darker but she doesn't think so :( :( but she seems to think that i've lost 10 pounds hehe yay! but i'm sure its not true la...talked about school... she says she doesn't want school to start yet. but i'm dying mannn, i really want it to start! flare too. then i won't feel so useless. i'm losing all sense of self worthhhh :'( :'( *shrivels up*

after lunch, my stomach felt really really wonky. i was soooo full!!! i think we ate four people's worth of yum cha or something. so we went walking around the city, went to check out cheap dvd players. can't wait till i get my paws on one. :) danni bought lost, desperate housewives, sex and the city and friends from china!!! :D :D :D so i was thinking that if i get a dvd player then they can come over to my place to watch dvds every friday during the break between our prac sessions. hopefully we're all in the same group la. gotta get up real early on the 22nd of feb so i can alter my timetable and get all the slots i want :p *kiasu*
