its nice to be back to the good ole routine of desperate housewives on mondays, the OC on tuesdays, house on wednesdays and Lost on thursdays. now i'm just waiting for grey's anatomy to start showing. its too bad that gilmore girls ended already tho. sigh. :(
anyways, speaking of the OC, i really REALLY love imogen heap's hide and seek. its my favourite song at the moment!!! :D but if u think about it, tht's quite sad, cos if u know me i always always get sick of favourite songs from listening to it too much or from perpetually having it in my head... and i dont want to get sick of such a beautiful song! meh. hehe i think u can sorta tell that i've been going on a downloading spree which will be continuing for quite sometime cos i still have a looong way to go. haha i'm only halfway through my list of songs to dl. hehe yay! at least this way i wont be so bored.
really hope to go cd shopping/browsing* (delete whichever appropriate depending on financial situation) soon too! cos i really really need new music and plus cd shopping is the only shopping i can do now cos all i need to do is pop by to borders across the street and that doesn't require long hours of good company opposed to clothes shopping. sigh, stupid daphne is busy. i wanna drag her to go clothes shopping with meee i need new jackets!
also, my boredom has turned me into a domestic goddess (ok hardly) of sorts. i've been cleaning the house and yesterday i vacuumed the whole place! felt really accomplished after that hehe cos its soo much cleaner now. :) and the day before yesterday, i baked choc chip rock buns! which everyone said were nice. hehe. yay! made my day. :D so yup, the whole day i was like this :DDDDD inside and outside. haha. but seriously man. i think i shall not bake anymore or at least for awhile... so many calories!!! admist my boredom, i've resolved to not have anymore body image issues by the time i turn 21 cos to me only teenagers struggle with weight problems and adults don't (ok i know tht's not true but everytime i think body image issues i think troubled teen hehe so yeah). can u imagine going for a job interview with only half your mind capable of rational thought cos the other half is worrying about how u look. mehhh. no good no good.
i think even though boredom really kills people, i'm sorta thankful for it...okay this will sound really cliche but firstly, it has given me time to think about what exactly i want to do abt a particular sitution. up until now i've just been vacillating between yes i should do it! and no dont be silly dont do it! heh. i think it has also made me sorta like cleaning the house up too! haha. so no more grumbling whenever my mum tells me to clear this and clean that (i used to feel really guilty about grumbling). call me crazy but i find lots of old crap that way. old prezzies, old cds... and today i found a cd that someone burnt for me when i was sec two. it had lots of lisa loeb songs on it. and i had totallyyyy forgotten that i used to like lisa loeb.
so i was also thinking (yea u think too much when u get bored) that its weird u know... that after people get through big significant patches of their lives, they just forget about it and its as if it never happen (at least i'm like that). so maybe the trick for said particular situation is to have enough determination to ride the wave till the end, get through the whole freakin tunnel until i see the light at the end of it and then maybe thereafter, i'd forget the whole thing ever happened just like how i forgot i used to be a lisa loeb fan.
