the booze cruise, in retrospect, was quite awesome! haha, funny how when i was there on the boat, it wasn't THAT great. but i still think the greatest part of the night was when i received presents from julia danni and caryn. :D they gave me destiny's child's compilation album (!!!!!!!!!!!! its sooo good!!!!!!!!!!!) and the emancipation of mimi. <3<3<3<3<3 thanks guys!!!!!!!

okay anyways. the booze cruise. we were all kinda disappointed that the boat was so tiny. but afterawhie, i kinda got used to it. the dancefloor surprisingly wasn't sqeezy at all. and it was semi-open air and the nice river breeze (i dont know what to call it :p) was reallyyy inviting. so much better than being cooped up in a smoky club. the boat even had its own little disco lights flashing about. must have looked quite happening from the shore.

the dj was quite good! we were expecting someone who's just good at putting cds into the player to be the dj. but nope, this one mixed the songs damn well. and was quite ingenious too. imagine mixing blur's song 2 with my humps. and it sounded GOOD! he also mixed 'get low' with 'yeah' woooo that one got us dancing. i loveeee my friends for losing their inhibitions and dancing with me. :)

went up to the deck for a bit too to look at dockland's scenery which basically consists of lots of cool cafes and restaurants and nice apartments (it looks really nice from the boat)! fwah i want an apartment there!!! vivien's aunty has a VACANT apartment there. *cough* iwanttostealit *cough* anyways my friends and i already made a date to go there and wine and dine next year. haha which is the next best thing i suppose.

rnb lasted for about 2 hours. then for the last hour, they played retro music. think mambo night. they played soooooo many songs from the dancing movies like "dirty dancing", "centrestage" and "fame". and they played grease lightning!!!!!! which is what flare used for finale. *sobs* brought back memories. however, by the last hour, we weren't dancing anymore. some guy tried talking to vivien and eventually, we all got introduced. he's not doing optom but he does finance and is going to be running an optom practice in a week (somehow i didn't buy that but anyway!) it was nice to just sit and tryandtalk and sing along to the songs. watched some of the angmohs dance. sigh. this guy was like molesting all the girls blatantly. and the girls were all trying to prevent it. sigh. i tell u arh, spoil people's fun only.

i was quite ready to leave by the end of it. in fact, i cldn't wait to leave cos techno started playing. the boat docked just in time. :) when i got back home, i got another asthma attack. sigh i dunno what's going on with me. i've been getting an attack a day for quite sometime now. ever since the middle of the exam period. grrr. i think its just spring's fault. but nvm! i'll be back soon! :D :D :D
