after a few weeks of exploring the vast, wonderful world of slightly more obscure music, my journey ended yesterday with modest mouse's "talking shit about a pretty sunset". its nice!!!!! :D i remember taking this personality quiz a few years back-"what obscure band are you?"-and i was modest mouse! don't know why it never occurred to me to download any of their music then.

so today, i relapsed back into the world of mainstream-ness and downloaded a few songs from emancipation of mimi! haha ya i'm a closet mariah fan. :p i've fallen in love with her new single "we belong together"!!! <3 <3 <3 just can't get it out of my head and i suspect that its a song i'll be crooning into my hair straightener for awhile. hehe.
